La Volpe di Agropoli – case study

La Volpe di Agropoli is a multi-purpose holiday site in the heart of Cilento, a short walk from the Baia di Trentova. It offers very different ways to stay, and the website has to make all of them clear without blurring them together.

The constraint that shaped the project

People arriving in a motorhome, people sleeping in a wooden cabin and people pitching a tent are not looking for the same holiday, or the same information. The motorhome traveller wants hook-ups and pitch dimensions; someone booking a cabin thinks like a hotel guest; the camper looks at shared facilities. Presenting them together as one generic offer forces all three to hunt for their own part.

How it works

• Motorhome parking with electrical hook-ups, described with the details that matter to that kind of traveller.
• Wooden cabins, the option closest to a traditional stay.
• An equipped camping area, with shared facilities up front.
• Bike and tent hire, beach shuttle service: the services that extend a stay.
• Children's play area and pets welcome, two filters that for many families come before price.

The site is completed by a photo gallery, a news section, contacts with an embedded map and a direct WhatsApp link.

The part you do not see

Pets welcome and a play area look like details but they are exclusion criteria: anyone travelling with a dog or small children rules out the places that do not say so, without reading the rest. They have to be stated early and plainly, not buried in a line of the house rules — because a visitor who cannot find them does not ask, they leave.
