Badil – case study

Badil is a software house working in retail, large-scale distribution and Industry 4.0. The site has to tell two different stories: a finished product and a custom development service.

The constraint that shaped the project

Two separate paths from the first screen. Someone looking at the product wants to see how it works and how quickly they can start; someone looking for a development partner wants to understand who they are dealing with and what they have built. These are different questions and neither is satisfied with half an answer: blending them into one generic pitch disappoints both visitors.

How it works

• inpublish, the platform for interactive publications and leaflets, presented for someone assessing a product.
• The custom software workshop, presented for someone assessing a supplier.
• A showcase of large-scale retail clients, which in this sector is the credential that counts more than any description.

The part you do not see

A software house's website has a problem others do not: it is read by people qualified to judge it. A slow load or a sloppy detail does not go unnoticed, because the visitor does this for a living. The technical quality of the site becomes part of the sales argument — an extra responsibility, and at the same time the reason it is worth doing properly.
