Managify – case study

Managify is the gym seen from the side of whoever runs it: members, memberships, entries, classes and takings in one system, instead of a generic tool plus too many spreadsheets.

The constraint that shaped the project

It is built for fitness centres, crossfit boxes, personal training studios, swimming pools and sports clubs: places that share the shape of the problem but not the same rules. A crossfit box thinks in capped classes, a pool in lanes and slots, a personal training studio in one-to-one appointments. Underneath, though, it is always the same question: who is entitled to walk in right now, and have they paid.

How it works

• Member records and memberships, with the expiry date always visible at the front desk.
• Room and class booking, which is where a session turns out full or empty.
• Training plans and nutrition advice tied to the individual member.
• Payments, analysis and statistics, to see which classes actually hold up.
• CRM with push notifications and a dedicated app, because memberships renew when somebody remembers them.
• Control of equipment on the floor, from hairdryers to showers.

The part you do not see

Renewal is the feature that decides a gym's accounts, and nobody asks for it during analysis: they ask for classes, training plans, the app. But a membership that lapses unnoticed is a customer lost in silence, and winning them back costs far more than reminding them in time. Expiry dates have to be treated as a system event, not as a column somebody is supposed to look at.
